Off to Poland

My friend Justin DeVore and I are gearing up for the International Conference for the Centre of Theology and Philosophy, called "What is Life," the conference poster can be viewed here.

We will be leaving for Krakow, Poland on Wednesday, and Lord willing we will arrive on Thursday morning, Poland-time. I am very excited to present my paper "The Chief End of All Life" on saturday and am also looking forward to hearing Justin's paper on Blondel.  And speaking of excitement, there are many terrific thinkers who will be presenting:

John Milbank
William Desmond
John Behr
Tracy Rowland
David Schindler
Philip Goodchild

And that is just a random grouping of names...there are many terrific well-known speakers that I did not mention. 

I am also excited to touch base with my adviser John Milbank. All our correspondence has been over email, so this will be my first official meeting with him.
